Life Coaching with Lisa Laws

We are all unique and so are our needs. Some people may need just a few coaching sessions to get some clarity and direction. Others may want a 3-6 month coaching series to really work on some big goals. Often a combination of coaching & hypnotherapy creates accelerated results.

As a rule I like to have an initial session and then if we both decide coaching is for us, we can agree on how often, how long and how many coaching sessions to commit to.

To give you an idea about how coaching may work for us, here’s a few general pointers:

  • Coaching sessions can be conducted face-to-face, by phone or by Skype
  • A coaching session normally lasts for one hour; hypnotherapy sessions from 60-90 minutes
  • Coaching sessions are usually held once a week or once every two weeks
  • A coaching series could be anything from four, eight, twelve or more sessions
  • Sometimes I get asked to do one-off ‘dilemma’ coaching sessions on a particular issue
  • Twelve sessions is my most popular coaching commitment
  • You may want to reduce the frequency of sessions as confidence in your ability to self-coach increases
  • Most people book a coach for a specific period of time (usually 3 months) and then take a break. Some then choose to see a coach every month just to check in
  • If you are considering couples coaching, sessions are normally 1-2 hours long and a course of at least four sessions is recommended
